On Sunday we did a whirlwind trip to Eagle River to visit people. On the way we went to her great grandparents' house who live in Birchwood to visit them. They had not seen her in a few weeks and she has changed so much! She wanted to look pretty for everyone so she decided to wear this:
After that stop, we went to my parents' house to visit them for awhile. This picture was taken at that stop. The next stop was at some friends' house for a late lunch, Tom and Valerie with Doug and Jennifer. They had not met Isabella yet, and she did so well! That was the longest time Isabella had been out of the house and she had a lot of fun. She was held most of the time at every house, and she was just eating it up :)
We took her for her first walk this past Wednesday. She had never been outside before, unless you count going to and from the car. She had a blast! We got her dressed and put her in her car seat and attached it to her stroller (it's a travel system) and we went for a mile walk. She just stared up at the sky and trees, and whoever was pushing her at the time like "What is this place?? Why have we come here??? TALK TO ME!!" Here is her "outside outfit" that her Grandma Forbes bought her:
Isabella wanted to take a picture for all her aunties yesterday and of course I said it was ok :) Here are a few pictures of that "photo shoot":
We have been Skyping with Isabella's Grandmama (Matt's mother) occasionally so they can interact since she lives in Oregon. We will be Skyping in a little bit with her so Grandmama can read her a story. After that we are taking Isabella to the Home Show here in Wasilla. We have just started using the stroller this week and so far she is doing well with it in her car seat, I hope she does well at the Home Show! I still have yet to change her diaper in a public bathroom. I did have to feed her in the Fred Meyer parking lot one day before we went in, we lost track of time and apparently it was feeding time. Taking her out isn't a big deal for us, it never really was since she was leaving the house to go to the doctor's office almost every day the week after she was born. We never really had that "waiting period" that most parents go through.
Overall Isabella is doing great, nothing major to report...unless people want to hear about our spitting up adventures. I'm thinking no? :D Until next time....

Hi Stacy,
ReplyDeleteThanks for keeping us updated on Isabella and her adventures. She sure is growing fast....and what a cutie she is :-) We enjoy reading about her. Keep up the good work.
