Week 23

Week 23 means that the baby is the size of a large mango.

We went to The Home Depot today to pick out paint colors for the babies room. We ended up buying all three colors we wanted! Our goal for the room is to have a stripe all around the top of the walls in a pale yellow (like the sun) , the main color for the walls will be a pale green (like grass), and a stripe at the bottom of each wall about 10 inches up from the baseboard in a light brown (like the ground). We are trying to create somewhat of a 'forest theme' for the room. It works well with girls and boys. I had been collecting fairy figurines for years and I have been searching for a place to keep them. Well, by doing the forest theme for the room, I can hang my "flying" fairies from the ceiling, and hang up my fairy prints on the walls. We also are looking at wall decals that are forest-y, such as: trees, forest animals, flowers, etc. Something that can be taken off the wall easily in case we want to change the decals. I think it would be easier than doing stencils and painting over them...all that work gone! Plus, I can't be on a ladder right now, so if we did do stencils, Matt would end up doing everything! The pictures shown are the colors we picked up. Matt is going to start painting the yellow tomorrow!
